"Frozen Autobahn"

Hi Millie,

I was just thinking of you a lot and knew I should say Hi. I even have a God Story to tell. Of course Christmas with my new Grandson is the most wonderful God story of them all. He is so perfect.

However, it being Germany and snowy and icey, my God story has to do with driving back from Rebecca's and Zae's in Stuttgart. It is about 200 miles back to my house and as I was leaving Stuttgart it was really icey and snowing hard. My jeep did a 360 degree spin on the Autobahn (the German version of our freeway, except no speed limits). The God story is that there were no cars in the area (this on a major autobahn outside a large city at mid-morning) and I didn't even hit the guard rail. I ended up pointed in the direction I needed to go, restarted my car and crawled the other 180 miles. I wasn't even speeding> just creeping along when the snow and ice got me. I sure sent a lot of thank yous and then re-wrote the song, "Angels Watching Over Me" to "Angels Hanging Onto Me". I sang it for 4 hours straight. Love those Angels and was so glad they rode with me.

So how are you doing? Another New Year. Wish I was there on Thursday nights and participating with the group. I miss you all. Tell everyone hi for me. Sending you a humongous hug.

  Love Susan
